Julian van Mil is a film director, motion graphic and VFX artist based in Toronto, Ontario.

At 18, Julian directed his first feature film, Snapped (2004). He then transitioned to commercial direction with a focus on complex visual effects spots. He continued to work in advertising and feature film as a freelancer for 10 years. In 2015, van Mil founded Studio Feather, a boutique motion graphics and VFX shop. Studio Feather now has offices in Toronto, Canada and Barcelona, Spain. 

Julian continues to freelance and run Studio Feather for clients such as Tesla, the CBC, and Netflix.
