Mark Gardner
Mark Gardner is a director and designer at Imaginary Forces in New York City.
He grew up in East Africa before moving to the UK to study photography and graphic design. Since then, Mark has worked for leading motion design companies in the UK such as English & Pockett and Kemistry, as well as the BBC and Channel 4. He has also worked on commercials, identities, main titles, and animation for major broadcast networks in the UK, Europe, and Asia.
In 2006, Mark moved to New York as one of Imaginary Forces’ permanent designer/directors. There, he directed a series of short films for Lexus, the main titles for Charlotte’s Web, Hell on Wheels, and Nurse Jackie, as well as experience design projects for Lincoln Center and Wynn Design. In September 2008, Mark received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Design for Mad Men.
